Guru Purnima is observed to honour the teachers or gurus who are ready to share their wisdom . Gurupurnima marks the relationship between students and teachers . Gu means Darkness or the ignorance and Ru means destroyer or one who eliminates. Guru means a person who eliminates the darkness of our life and makes it brighter by the light of knowledge. Guru Purnima is celebrated on the full moon day of Ashadh month of Hindu calendar.

Guru Purnima is celebrated to honour Saint Veda Vyas. He was the saint of the ancient period. He is credited for compiling All Vedas and Purans. For paying respect we celebrate Guru Purnima reminding his contribution to our society.
The teacher-student relationship is the dynamic interaction between a teacher and their students. It helps build trust, enhances motivation, and promotes better academic outcomes. A positive teacher-student relationship can also help students feel more connected to their school and community. SOA celebrated Guru Purnima on 3rd of July 2023 Considering all these facts with intense zeal and zest .
The celebration commenced on a cheerful note /began with a happy note and the school conducted a special assembly to mark the occasion and to acknowledge the contribution of Gurus in shaping the personality of their disciples.

In std 1 to 3 teachers shared importance of Guru Purnima through story telling and different other activities and std 4 to 11 students were described the significance of Guru Purnima and transformation of the student -teacher relationship over the years and were instructed to share importance and different other aspects of Guru Purnima to impart and familiarise the role of teachers in the lives of students .They were divided into groups and were motivated and encouraged to prepare cards and a small speech to express love, respect, acknowledgement and gratitude towards their teachers and they were also appreciated by their subject teachers . The celebration was a huge leap forward and it was really a memorable day that students as well as teachers will cherish throughout their life.
ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમા એ શિક્ષકો અથવા ગુરુઓનું સન્માન કરવા માટે મનાવવામાં આવે છે જેઓ તેમની શાણપણ વહેંચવા માટે તૈયાર હોય છે .ગુરુપૂર્ણિમા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને શિક્ષકો વચ્ચેના સંબંધને ચિહ્નિત કરે છે .ગુ એટલે અંધકાર અથવા અજ્ઞાન અને રુ એટલે વિનાશક અથવા દૂર કરનાર. ગુરુનો અર્થ એ છે કે જે આપણા જીવનના અંધકારને દૂર કરે છે અને જ્ઞાનના પ્રકાશથી તેને ઉજ્જવળ બનાવે છે. ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમા હિન્દુ કેલેન્ડરના અષાઢ મહિનાની પૂર્ણિમાના દિવસે ઉજવવામાં આવે છે.
ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમા સંત વેદ વ્યાસના સન્માન માટે ઉજવવામાં આવે છે. તેઓ પ્રાચીન કાળના સંત હતા. તેમને બધા વેદ અને પુરાણોનું સંકલન કરવાનો શ્રેય આપવામાં આવે છે. આદર આપવા માટે આપણે આપણા સમાજમાં તેમના યોગદાનને યાદ કરીને ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમા ઉજવીએ છીએ.

શિક્ષક-વિદ્યાર્થી સંબંધ એ શિક્ષક અને તેમના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ વચ્ચેની ગતિશીલ ક્રિયાપ્રતિક્રિયા છે. તે વિશ્વાસ કેળવવામાં મદદ કરે છે, પ્રેરણા વધારે છે અને વધુ સારા શૈક્ષણિક પરિણામોને પ્રોત્સાહન આપે છે. સકારાત્મક શિક્ષક-વિદ્યાર્થી સંબંધ વિદ્યાર્થીઓને તેમની શાળા અને સમુદાય સાથે વધુ જોડાણ અનુભવવામાં પણ મદદ કરી શકે છે. SOA એ 3જી જુલાઈ 2023 ના રોજ ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમાની ઉજવણી તીવ્ર ઉત્સાહ અને ઉત્સાહ સાથે આ તમામ હકીકતોને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને કરી હતી.
ઉજવણીની શરૂઆત ખુશખુશાલ નોંધ સાથે થઈ હતી/પ્રસન્ન નોંધ સાથે શરૂઆત થઈ હતી અને શાળાએ આ પ્રસંગને ચિહ્નિત કરવા અને તેમના શિષ્યોના વ્યક્તિત્વને ઘડવામાં ગુરુઓના યોગદાનને સ્વીકારવા માટે એક વિશેષ સભાનું આયોજન કર્યું હતું.

ધોરણ 1 થી 3 માં શિક્ષકોએ વાર્તા કથન અને અન્ય વિવિધ પ્રવૃત્તિઓ દ્વારા ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમાના મહત્વને શેર કર્યું અને ધોરણ 4 થી 11 ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમાના મહત્વ અને વર્ષોથી વિદ્યાર્થી-શિક્ષકના સંબંધોમાં થયેલા પરિવર્તનનું વર્ણન કરવામાં આવ્યું અને મહત્વ અને વિવિધ બાબતોને વહેંચવા સૂચના આપવામાં આવી. ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમાના અન્ય પાસાઓ વિદ્યાર્થીઓના જીવનમાં શિક્ષકોની ભૂમિકાને સમજાવવા અને પરિચિત કરવા માટે .તેમને જૂથોમાં વહેંચવામાં આવ્યા હતા અને તેમના શિક્ષકો પ્રત્યે પ્રેમ, આદર, સ્વીકૃતિ અને કૃતજ્ઞતા વ્યક્ત કરવા માટે કાર્ડ અને નાનું ભાષણ તૈયાર કરવા પ્રેરિત અને પ્રોત્સાહિત કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા અને તેઓ તેમના વિષય શિક્ષકો દ્વારા પણ પ્રશંસા કરવામાં આવી હતી. આ ઉજવણી એક મોટી છલાંગ હતી અને તે ખરેખર એક યાદગાર દિવસ હતો જે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ તેમજ શિક્ષકો તેમના જીવનભર યાદ રાખશે.
